Welcome to Quizling

This is a progressive puzzle based on various types of cyphers, codes, & cryptography. Of course, figuring out which method was used is half the battle with most of the puzzles. Bear in mind that the stages become increasingly difficult (for the most part).

If you feel the need to use software to decode a message, you're free to do so but please try to write your own. You'll get more out of it that way, and it will feel a lot less like cheating. Nobody likes a code moocher.

Some tips and other stuff to keep in mind
• The system doesn't care about spaces or punctuation. So, don't worry about finding swaps or keys for those characters.
• Knowing what kind of code is being used is often the most helpful clue. So, keep track of your answers, they'll come in handy.
• Often times two or more different kinds of codes are used one atop the other.
• To save your place (as if you have anything better to do) just bookmark the "SAVE" url.
• Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty writing code to crack these cyphers- or bribe a brainy friend to do it for you.
